Scott,
I am the same Scott Jackson you knew from Cambridge, OH school days. I was researching Yearnings when I thought of your wonderful accompaniments back then. I Googled your name and found your site without trouble.
It is exciting to read of your accomplishments, though not entirely surprising. This is given my first-hand knowledge of your talent from 30 years past.
Have a great holiday season!
Sincerely,
Scott

Scott, I was incredibly moved by your recital. It is so rare to hear such depth of feeling, profundity of conception and absolute technical mastery come together in one performance. So often the pianists with giant techniques never really take you anywhere emotionally. If I had a recording of today’s performance of the Schubert Opus 960, I’d roll my other CDs down the street. Thank you for an experience I’ll never forget.

Thank you for the wonderful concert this afternoon. It was a brilliant performance! And a great selection of pieces. It was my idea to attend, then this afternoon with the wind and rain it seemed so cozy inside that I was going to pass on it but a friend held firm that we go. It made my weekend. I hope you were as pleased with it.
So few people come to concerts of classical music. E-mail notification of events is very effective. Perhaps you and other musicians and groups around town could share e-mail addresses of individuals who enjoy this music. Please put me on your mailing list.

Hello Scott. How have you been? Things are going well down here. I've been playing with the Florida Orchestra regularly this season -- filling in for the second trumpet (his wife recently had a bone marrow transplant, so he's taking care of her). Other than that not too eventfull. Drop me a line reguarding potential collaboration with Konstantin and myself :)

Scott,
On behalf of The Otis Smith KIDS Foundation and the children we serve, THANK YOU for a beautiful benefit concert!
Your performance was amazing and because of you, we raised enough money to have a child sponsored for our programs including tutoring and D.R.E.A.M. camp.
You are an inspiration with your generosity and Jacksonville University is blessed to have you as a faculty member.
Thank you again!

Scott,
I saw the announcment for your 10 September concert at Brown Hall in the online Jeffersonian. You have an impressive resume'.
I remember you playing a concert with the CHS Symphony Band in Spring 1977. I was the lead Trumpet. You graduated in my sister's class at CHS and were friends with my cousin Mike Miller. Mom taught Chemistry and Earth Science at CHS. I don't know if you remember me.
I would be interested in hearing you perform. Let me know if you will be playing in the Washington, DC area. Mark

Hi Scott! Remember me? I can also say I knew you when. High school, choir, prom. I just received a copy of the article about you in the Jeffersonian from Mom. I can't say I am surprised that you have accomplished so much! Even in high school, you were so talented and focused. I am very happy for you that you have achieved so much and lived your dream! I wish you only the best and continued success. If and when you play in TX, I will definitely be there!
Take care,
Susan

Hi Scott. Was reading the Jeffersonian online and saw the article and your website. We are living in Lecanto Fl now. Lost track of you and your family. After reading your site, you have come a long way but that is no surprise. You always had so much talent and drive that I knew you would make the big time. Congratulations and maybe we will see you sometime in Florida.

I am the same person who signed your guest book below, but in the interim, my Yahoo mail was obliterated (these things happen -- oh well). Thus, I am sending out my new Yahoo E-mail (not much different!). Your site remains quite wonderful, and I am working on getting my Bolet tapes transferred to listenable CD-Rs, with some success, if I do say so! After some medical recuperation in the next few weeks, I will be in touch to see if you would like some copies of whatever I make. Continued best of wishes. After I am a little more mobile, I would really like to get up to NYC to hear you; the fall recital sounds wonderful. John Turner

Very well-done and interesting website, Mr. Watkins! Just learned that you live next-door to Nico Bolet. I am a long-time admirer of Jorge Bolet, and new him somewhat when he was teaching at Curtis (where I was studying with another teacher). Searching out Bolet recordings has become a "passion" almost, and i have many taped performances that have never been released.
Best wishes to you in all you do!
